New Do

My mom and sister strongly encourage me to do Brooklyn's hair for SOME reason. Perhaps because it's pretty much outta control if left untouched. So this post is for them. Here it is - Brooklyn's first "whole pony." (With a little help from about 10 bendy clips.)
It makes her look so grown up. Below is a picture of her at "kids club" (the child care at the gym) with her friend Laurel. Laurel is sporting the huge bow to match her outfit just like every other little girl in our "neck of the woods" EXCEPT Brooklyn.

What a big girl!! She looks so grown up with her "whole pony"! I must say that I am a fan of the "big cheese" photo myself. Plus, Charlie needs a partner in crime to have his matching WILD hair!

This is my favorite entry EVER!!! I almost don't even recognize this girl! SHe is SO stinkin' cute! You're from one extreme to the next though babe! It's either buck wild all natural or complete slick back! I am cracking up right now, I can not even get over it! Move her but back to Cali! And speaking of butts, hers looks hilarious! This outfit is SO CUTE but it looks like she out grew it! It looks so old school and she looks like such YOUR daughter right now! I'm loving every minute of this little girl! I wanna just eat her up!

Is Pip conerned about the shorts because they aren't knee length? Uh oh, do you hear that? Yeah, I think it's the FASHION POLICE! I hope that doesn't ruin her chances of getting into the B.Y.! haha, j/k

I can't believe you got her to sit still long enough to get all those barrettes into her hair! Her blue eyes really pop with the hair out of her face.

sooo stinkin' adorable (of course)!!!!! ...and i really like all of the clippies. i do not understand why that little girl's mother lets her hair go "buck" most of the time - her hair was "done" almost everyday when she was a little lass.
Love them all and miss them.
PS - i love Pip's sentiment. :)

Like I said before, when you have the kind of face and eyes that Brooklyn has (beautiful!) you don't need big bows ok? Not to be rude, but sometimes that may be why other parents put these monstrous bows on their daughters (I'm NOT referring to her cute friend from the gym, by the way--she is a cutie pie). I'm speaking in general terms.

Oh, about the skewers. . . I marinated the chicken in orange juice, lemon juice (real), minced garlic, a little soy sauce, ginger if you want. You can use whatever you like to marinate. Then just skewer away!
